Today I am 37 weeks pregnant... and I totally feel it. I had my second (amazing) shower this weekend and noticed that my legs and feet were swollen. I seriously looked like a hobbit from the waist down. Doctor said swelling like this is normal and unfortunately I can't do anything about it from now on. I remember asking him, "Well... can't you wave a magic wand and make it go away?". I really am starting to believe in magic powers right now. HEAL ME!
On a better note, we have literally everything we need now that both showers are done. I am thankful for everyone's help thus far and I couldn't have done it without my best friends- CHAD AND MY MOM! Both of them are the greatest people in the world and have made this process more fun in the last 5 months of my pregnancy. Here are some photos I took today to show you what we have done in the room. It's still not finished but we're getting there!!!!
ALSO: I am holding a drawing for a bag of goodies! These are things that are definitely for a baby girl- wash cloths, CIRCO receiving blankets, cute towel w/hoodie, baby listening monitor and a FIRST 5 kit (this includes parenting DVDs, books and lots of info for first time parents). I love giveaways! I love craigslist too!! I just got my glider off craigslist with the ottoman for $75. I think I'm also going to do a lot of sewing for the baby's room too. Gender neutral because we're waiting to find out the sex. :-)

I am a HUGE craigslist fan. I also picked up a barely used bassinet for $20. My parents were able to find a new crib from craigslist as well that we plan to use once she grows out of the bassinet. I was able to find a woman selling a huge back of baby clothes for $15! I had to quit working early during my pregnancy, and so anyway I can get what we need for less is the only way to go in my book! :) Plus it keeps my husband happy that I'm not out spending a lot either. It's soooo important to make the almighty dollar stretch as far as possible.
I am very Interested as well. I love give aways or samples. This being our first child i am extremely excited that its a little girl.. We are not having a babyshower however because no one in my family is able to do it... kinda upsetting but life is life.. I also love Craigslist. Maybe it's just where we live but the Craigslist here stinks! I tried getting two different things and I emailed the seller 4 times and he never emailed me back. Irritating.

I came over from your post on The Nest, and I would LOVE this stuff! We're due in the beginning of May. We got almost all of our furniture as hand-me-downs from friends and family. The only thing we might have to buy is a glider...
